StampARTic: Reusing candy wrappers

Det är bara att erkänna, det har cirkulerat massor av godispapper i detta hem. Jag bär hem dem fyllda och jag slänger dem tömda. De finns i skarpa färger, färgglada färger och de finns också skinande och fina. Tanken är att de skall fresta oss. Det gör det. Jag var inte förvånad när jag började ställa samma fråga som jag så ofta gör - Vad kan jag göra med det här? Vad kan man egentligen göra med godispapper? Åh, massor! Vi visar er några av våra idéer. Vad tycker du? Blev du inspirerad?

I can't deny it, over the years lots of candy wrapping have circulated in my house. Some of them are bright and some of them are shiny and beautiful. The idea is to look tempting. And they do! So I wasn't surprised when I started asking myself the same old question - What can I do with this?

Jag har använt mig av det glansiga pappret från Mozartkulor. Jag knycklade ihop omslagspappret och klistrade fast det på tjockare ark. Målade med svart akrylfärg och torkade bort innan det helt hunnit torka och sedan samma sak med blå färg. Vävtejpen har också målats med akrylfärg. Vellumpapper är infärgat med dyna och embossad i olika färger och sedan utstansad. Motivet är stämplat med akrylfärg på OH-papper. Guldlöven är gjord av papper från favoritchokladen Ferrero Rocher.

I've used the shiny paper from Mozart chocolate. I scrunched the wrapping and glued it on cardstock. Painted with black acrylic paint and wiped it off before it dried, did the same thing with blue paint. The tape from home depot is also painted with acrylic paint. The bellum paper is inked with a pad and embossed in different colours and punched. The motif is stamped with acrylic paint on acetate paper. The gold leaves are made with wrapping from my favourite chocolate Ferrero Rocher.

Jeg har lekt meg med papiret fra en stor sjokoladeplate og laget kjolen til min Prima "dukke"

I have played with the wrappingpaper from a large candybar and made the dress for my Prima "doll"

Jeg stemplet selve kjolen rett på sjokoladepapiret og klippet ut to stk som til slutt ble limt over hverandre.. Disse fikk flere lag med sort Art Anthology maling på seg.. Jeg brukte varmepistolen min og tørket imellom hvert av de tre lagene, og lot godtepapiret leve sitt eget liv slik som varmepistolen smeltet og formet det..

I stamped the dress right on the candybar paper and cut out two dresses that in the end where glued on top of each other.. This two dresses where given tree layers of black Art Anthology paint on them.. I used my heatgun between each layer, and let the candypaper live its own life as the heatgun melted and formed it.

Selve bakgrunnen på tagen er laget med to mister blandet selv fra Primary Elements (nutmeg og golden bamboo).. Videre har jeg stemplet med ett stempel fra Tim Holtz og ett fra Dylusions.. teksten er også fra Dylusions. Håret er malt med Viva Ferro og metallpynten jeg har brukt på kjolen er fra Korthobby og Tim Holtz.

The background on the tag is made with mists made out of Primary Elements (nutmeg and golden bamboo).. Further on I have used stamps by Tim Holtz and Dylusions, the text is also from Dylusions.. Her hair is made with Viva Ferro and the metalembellishments I have used on the dress are from Korthobby and Tim Holtz.

Selve tagen er laget med med Ink refresher og distress blekk som er krøllet og tørket med varmluft pistol! Selve sjokoladepapiret er fra Ferrero Rocher sjokolade som er min favoritt sjokolade, og her har jeg bare brukt papiret som det er og som en del av bakgrunnen. Bladene er stanset ut med Tim Holtz dies, og selve motivet er fargelagt med distress blekk og vannpensel.

This tag is made with Ink refresher and Distress ink, and I have crunched the tag to get the structure on the background. After that I have used the heat gun to get it dry! Chocolate paper is from my favorite chocolate Ferrero Rocher, and I have used the paper like it is and as a part of the background. Leafs are made with Tim Holtz dies, and the motif is colored with distress inks and waterbrush.

Det ser ut som vi er flere som liker Ferrero Rocher. Jeg har også brukt dette papiret i tillegg til papir fra Polly Sjokolade

It seems like several of us likes Ferreo Rocher. I have used that paper along with Polly chocolate. By the way, it is delicius if you like salt and sweet :-)

Ette å ha malt med gesso brukt diverse spray på denne, stanset jeg ut blomster fra resten av Polly papiret og av den harde pappen.

Denne brukte jeg blant annet til pynt sammen med de brune papiret til Ferreo Rocher

After gessoed and using different mists on the tag, I punched out TH smalle flowers from the chipboard paper and the rest of the Polly paper. I used it as embellishments along with the brown paper from FR.

Trevligt när man kan kombinera olika intressen i samma projekt.

Jag älskar att bygga märkliga saker av papper och jag kan ju inte förneka

att min kärlek för choklad inte är helt obetydlig :)

So much fun when you get to combine different interests in the same project.

I love to build strange things out of paper and I can't deny that I love chocolate!!!

Till dagens inlägg blev det ett litet "skåp" 13x18 cm.

Först av allt blev jag tvungen att äta upp två chokladkakor för att få material till

dörrarna. Jag embossade dörrarna i en embossing folder från Spellbinders (Celtic knot)

For todays post I made a small "cabinet" 13X18 cm.

First of all I had to eat two chocolate bars to make the doors for my little cabinet.

Sen plockade jag fram en annan kärlek, akrylfärgerna. Grundmålade dörrarna

svarta, sedan flera tunna lager grönt och till sist torrborstning med guld för att

framhäva mönstret. Låset kommer från Panduro Hobby.

Acrylic paint for the doors, I painted the doors black, color washes in

green and finished them off by dry brushing them with a bit of gold.

The lock is from Panduro Hobby.

Inuti finns en ficka för hemliga meddelanden (eller kanske den är till för att

gömma den goda chokladen för resten av familjen :)

Inside there is a pocket to keep secret messages (or maybe hide the good chocolate

from the rest of the family. LOL)

Fickan är egentligen en del av en gammal läderplånbok. Insidan på skåpet är täckt

med folie, godispapper så klart. Jag använde dubbelhäftande tape för att fästa de

knöliga små bitarna, förseglade det hela med ett tunnt lager bivax. Kladdade på

svart Gesso och torkade av med babywipe innan det torkat ordentligt.

The pocket is really a piece of a leather wallet. The inside of the cabinet is covered

with metal foil, of course it is candy wrapping!!! I used double sided adhesive tape to

stick the small pieces to the background and then sealed the whole thing with bees wax.

To get a dark, distressed look I applied black Gesso and then wiped it back with a

babywipe.

This tree is made of chocolate paper. I have melted the paper down and tryed to shaped in to branches with a heat gun. When I hade enough branches I bonded it with a glue gun. As base

I have used an old nail Box, painted it with gesso and and glued on papers from Graphic 45.

All the butterflyes

The Whole tree is primed with gesso and spray painted with matt white paint. I have jused mye glue gun (a very good friend)to put all the flowers and butterfly in Place.

I jused a lot of flowers from Prima, Storyteller and Wild Orcide Craft.

When everything was glued I went over with glitter glue on all the flowers.

Jeg har laget en kurv. Denne kurven er en brettekurv. Malen på denne er publisert i flere blogger. Jeg har også satt på to bokser på toppen, slik som i et gammelt syskrin. Ideen til formen på kurven er fra Taras Craft studio

This time, I have made a basket. The basket is a folding basket. The template has been published by several crafters. I have added two boxes on the top, like an old sewing box. The idea to make a basket in this shape, is after several different baskets seen at Taras Craft studio.

De grønne svirlene er diecuts fra papiret til mynte sjokolade (Freia 70% Mint). jeg har også limt sjokoladepapir i gull fra Ferrero Rocher over brads, skruer og muttere for å farge dem i gull.

The green swirls and leafs are diecuts from a mint chocolat paper (Freia 70% Mint). I have also glued golden chocolate paper from Ferrero Rocher over the brads, screws and nuts, to make them golden.
