Recycling game pieces

Time again for recycling and/or upcycling. The theme for today is game pieces. We've tried to look at those old and sad games that haven't been used for ages.

This is what I started with. Extra large jigsaw pieces, extra small deck of cards and pieces of games.

And this is how the card turned out. I distressed and covered the playing card with several layers of UTEE. The jigsaw puzzle pieces were painted with acrylic paint and the game pieces were stamped and embossed.

I have created a cover for my Mixed Media Art Journal. I have used round game pieces as part of the decoration. The colours used, is mainly Trition markers - to test different ways of using them.
