Så er vi komt frem til 15. Desember og som alltid på den 15. har vi en ny utfordring til dere...

Dette blir den siste utfordringen i år, og vi i Design Teamet tar en liten juleferie nå.

Vi skal samle litt krefter og energi til 1. januar, da er vi tilbake for fullt igjen.

This will be the last challenge this year, and now we in the Design Team are taking a small Christmas Vacation. We will use this break to collect some new energy for January 1st.

Hvor henter du inspirasjon fra?

Jeg får all min inspirasjon fra ulike blogger (både norske og utenlandske), i tillegg til daglig besøk av ulike forumer. Så disse er jeg avhengig av:-)

Where do you get your inspiration?
I get all my inspiration from blogs (both Norwegian and worldwide), and I also visit different message boards everyday. I`m totally addicted to them.

Hvilket utstyr kan du absolutt ikke klare deg uten?
Åj! Det er mange gitt. Men for å trekke ut noen; Stempler, Lim, papir(både mønster og
kartong), papirskjærer, distress og nå per dags dato; promarkere, saks, bånd, blomster, perler...ja, det blitt litt mye da, men det sier jo litt om hvor mye vi kortlagere trenger av utstyr:-)

What equipment can you absolutely not live without?
Wow... that is a lot, but to mention some; Stamps, glue, paper (Both pattern and cardstock), papercutter, distress ink, and tehse days also Promarkers, scissors, flowers, pearls... oh well, it is a lot, but it tells you how much we have become addicted to as card makers.

Hvorfor valgte du med denne hobbyen?
Lysten til å skape noe, var nok den største årsaken til at jeg valgte denne hobbyen. Og det at stempling var noe helt nytt, noe jeg aldri hadde sett før, pirret min nysgjerrighet. Etter at jeg fikk mitt første stempel i hus, ble jeg avhengig.

Why did you choose this hobby?
The urge to create something, was probably the bigges reason why I choosed this hobby. And stamping was something brand new to me, and it trigger my curiosity. After getting my first stamp, I was totally addicted.

Tilfeldigheter; Jeg jobbet i en barnehage i Kongsvinger for 10-11 år siden.Der var det en
stempeldame som hadde et kurs, hvor hun viste oss hvordan man kunne lage egne kort ved hjelp av blekk, stempel og litt kartong.! Etter at hun dro var jeg fullstendig hekta.

Tell us about your first meeting with card making.
It was coincidence. I worked in a Kindergarten in Kongsvinger about 10-11 years ago, and a lady held a class about how we could make our own cards, using ink, stamps and some cardstock. After the class I was totally hooked.

Har du noen du ser opp til innenfor denne hobbyen?
Jeg har mange...derfor nevner jeg ingen.Det finnes så mange utrolig dyktige damer både i Norge og utenlande, som skaper ting jeg bare ville drømt om. Jeg henter inspirasjoner fra mange av disse heltinnene, så takk til hver og en for at dere er så dyktige og fordi dere viser frem mesterverkene.

Do you have any heroes within card making?
I have so many, and that is why I don`t mention any by name. There are so many great and talented card makers out there, both in Norway and world wide, that create things I could only dream of. I get so much inspirations from all these heroes, so a big thank you to all of you out there, for sharing your work and your talent.

Hva liker du ikke å se på kort?
Jeg tror man venner seg til det meste, bare man ser det ofte nok. Jeg husker første gang jeg så noen hadde festet bånd på kortet med stiftemaskin..Jeg tenkte den gangen at det går jo rett og slett ikke ann. Det var jo grusomt!!...Vel, nå gjør jeg det selv.;-)..Alt har med vane å gjøre.

What do you not like to see on a card?
I think you can get used to anything after a while... I remeber the very first time I saw someone had fasten a ribbon to a card, using stablers... And I was horrified... well, now I do it myself.. It all has to do with getting used to things.

Hvor lang tid bruker du på et kort?
fra 30 min til flere uker...Står jeg fast, så kan jeg virkelig slite med et kort! Da legger jeg det oftest bort og starter på et nytt kort.

How long time do you use on one card?
It can be anything from 30 minutes to weeks. Sometimes I get really stuck, and then I just put the card away for a while, and start another one..

Har du en favoritt teknikk?
Jeg maler med distress ink, og jeg må vel si at det er min favoritt. Jeg fargelegger også med promarkere, men de klarer ikke å komme opp på høyde med distress inken. Så min favoritt teknikk er fargelegging. Tror ikke jeg lager mange kort i året, som ikke har et fargelagt motiv på seg...

Do you have any favorite technique?
I color in my images with distress ink, and I have to say I absolutely love them! I also use Promarkes for coloring in, but the favorite is distress ink. My favorite technique is colored in images, I don`t think there is many cards I make during a year, where I don`t use colored in images.

Favoritt stempel?
Nå er det Whiff Of Joy som henger høyt i kurs hos meg....jeg er veldig glad i søte motiver, og velger de fremfor noen andre. Men som alt annet, så skifter jeg smaken i takt med "stempelmoten" Det som blir pop av stempler, noe som " alle" skaffer seg, havner som oftest hjemme hos meg også...

Favorite stamp?
Right now it is Whiff of Joy. I`m very found of cute images, and I tend to use them. But it varies, and the stamps that get very popular around in the crafting world, usually ends up in my scrap room too.

Har du et kort du er veldig fornøyd med som du vil vise oss?
Jeg har noen kort som jeg har blitt mer fornøyd med enn andre , og det har vel hovedsaklig vært fordi jeg har truffet med fargevalget. Et av disse er dette:

Do you have any favorite card that you have done and want to show us?
I have some cards I`m more happy with then others, and it is usually the cards I feel I was lucky with my choice of colors. One of them is this:

Hva er din største glede med denne hobbyen?
Avslapping, rekreasjon og skaperglede...Når jeg setter meg på hobbyrommet, så flyter
tankene....Hvis jeg har vært stressa tidligere på dagen, så forsvinner det straks jeg tar i malerpenselen, så det er absolutt rekreasjon for meg. Noen dager har jeg rett og slett ikke tid til å sette meg på hobbyrommet, og da holder det å sette snuten innenfor rommet, for å dra med seg den herlige lukten av papir, blekk og ubrukt kreativitet.

What is your biggest pleasure with card making? Relaxing, recreations and the joy of creating...When I go to my scrap room, my thoughts just flies.. If I`m stressed out earlier, it goes away as soon as I pick up my brush, so it is definitely recreations for me. Some days I have no time for card making, and then I just stick my head in my scrap room, and take a good breathe and smell the wonderful smell of paper, ink and unused creativity.

1.Rosa eller blå? Blå, men helst en turkis eventuelt lysblå
2. Bling eller blomster? Jeg må ha bling på blomstene:-) så da blir det begge
3. Tusj eller pensel? hmm nå for tiden er det faktisk begge deler, men jeg må nok si pensel. Jeg fargelegger mest med pensel.
4. Stempler eller ikke? Helt klart stempler
5. Pasteller eller sterke farger? Pasteller
6. Bånd eller blonder? Bruker nok bånd mer enn blonder

1. Pink or blue? Blue, but I prefer turqoise or a light blue.
2. Bling or flowers? I need bling on my flowers, so I have to say both.
3. Felt or brush? Hmm...these days it is both, but I have to say brush, as I use that the most.
4. Stamp or not? Definitley stamps.
5. Pastelles or strong colors? Pastelles
6. Ribbon or laces? I use more ribbon then lace.

Make a project, with Easter theme, using the colors, yellow, orange and green. It can be a card, but does not have to be card... any project as long as it is Easter theme and have the 3 colors involved.... You have time to participate until 27th March midnight StampARTic time. You are allowed to make as many cards you like so long they are made for this challenge and not combined with an other challenge.

Var finner du din inspiration?

Internet och speciellt alla underbara pysselbloggar är min största inspirationskälla! Jag är också en pappersälskare och får ofta inspiration till ett kort från vackra papper.

Vilket verktyg kan du absolut inte leva utan?

Min Fiskars pappersskärare!! Jag har faktiskt två, en har jag med mig på resor och den andra står alltid på mitt skrivbord.

Varför började du med denna hobby?

Oftast känns det som hobbyn valde mig istället för tvärtom *lol*.Jag har alltid älskat vackra mönster och först var jag mer inne på sömnad som hobby.. men när jag sedan hittade denna underbara värld av mönstrade papper gick jag totalt in för kortmakeri!!!

Berätta om ditt första möte med denna hobby.

Jag såg några vackra handgjorda kort i en hobbyaffär och bestämde mig för att testa själv. Jag köpte lite material först och sen lite mer och sen var jag totalt beroende!

Har du några "idoler" inom kortmakeriet?

Åh många! Men förmodligen är min största idol Aija med hennes underbara färgläggningsteknik. Jag skulle älska att ha en liten del av hennes talang! *lol*

Är det någonting du INTE vill se på ett kort?

Jag kan inte komma på någonting jag inte vill se på ett kort... Faktum är att jag älskar att se nya idéer och nya material hela tiden! Det stora utbudet av material är definitivt en av anledningarna till att jag älskar att göra kort!

Hur mycket tid brukar du lägga ner på ett kort?

Tiden jag lägger ner varierar mycket. Ibland hittar jag en rolig idé för ett enkelt kort och det kan ta 15 minuter att göra det. Ibland kan det ta en till två timmar. Vanligtvis tar det ca 30-45 minuter att göra ett kort om jag har ett färdigt färglagt motiv att utgå ifrån.

Har du någon favorit-teknik? Ifall du har det, berätta gärna om dem!

Jag är förälskad i stämplar och experimenterar mycket med dem då och då. För tillfället håller jag mycket på med "versamark & chalks"-teknik där man först stämplar motivet med transparant versamark-dyna och sen gör motivet synligt med chalks. Jag har testat detta både på mina ATC´s och på mina kort och det är så fantastiskt att se hur bilden växer fram.

Favorit stämpel?

Jag har många stämplar som jag älskar men jag måste säga att mina absoluta favoriter för tillfället är de som är designade av Elisabeth Bell för både Sugar Nellie och Whiff of joy.

Har du något favoritkort och skulle du vilja visa det för oss?

Ja faktiskt är det så att det kort jag gillar mest gjorde jag för den allra första skissutmaningen för StampARTic. Det tog mycket tid att göra det kortet efter den skissen men jag är väldigt glad att jag gjorde det!

Vad tycker du känns roligast med denna hobby?

Att jag alltid kan komma på något nytt och bli en bättre kortmakare. Himlen är gränsen och jag gillar att utmana mig själv varje dag!

Where do you get your inspiration?

Internet and specially all the wonderful craft blogs are my biggest source of inspiration! And I have to say that I’m a paper addict too and I often get my inspiration for a card also from a piece of beautiful patterned paper.

What equipment can you absolutely not live without?
Fiskars paper trimmer!!! I actually have two of them, the other travels with me and the other is always at my desk!

Why did you choose this hobby?

Most of the time I think it choose me instead *LOL* I’ve always loved beautiful patterns and first I was into sewing things… then I found the wonderful world of patterned papers and totally went into card making!!!

Tell us about your first meeting with card making.
I saw some beautiful handmade cards on some craft store and decided to try out myself. I bought some materials and then some more and soon I was totally addicted!

Do you have any "heros" within cardmaking?
Oh I have plenty of them but I guess my biggest idol is Aija with her wonderful coloring technique. I would love to have a piece of her talent! *LOL*

What do you not like to see on a card?
I can’t think anything I would not like to see in a card… I actually love to see new ideas and new materials all the time! The richness in materials is definitely one of the reasons I love cardmaking!

How long time do you use on one card?
Time I use on making a single card varies a lot. Sometimes I see fun idea for a simple card and it can come up in 15 minutes. Sometimes it take an hour or two to make a card ready. Usually it takes 30-45 minutes to make a card if I have colored the image earlier.

Do you have any favorite-technique? If yes, please tell us about them!
I’ve fallen in love with stamps so I’m experimenting a lot with them time to time. Now I’ve really been into “versamark & chalks” –technique where you first stamp the image with transparent versamark ink and then make it visible with chalks. I’ve tried this out both on my ATC’s and on my cards and I think it’s so amazing how the images turn out.

Favorite stamp?
I have lots of stamps I love but I must say that my absolutely favorites at this moment are the ones designed by Elisabeth Bell for both Sugar Nellie Stamps and Whiff of Joy Stamps.

Do you have any favorite card and would you like to show us?
I actually like the card I made for the first StampARTic Sketch Challenge the best. It took a lot of work to make a card with this sketch but I’m happy I did it!

What is your biggest pleasure with cardmaking?
I can always come up with something new and get better as a card maker! The sky is the limit and I love to challenge myself everyday!

Miten valitsit tämän harrastuksen?

Useimmiten ajattelen että ennemminkin tämä harrastus valitsi minut *LOL* Olen aina rakastanut kauniita kuvioita ja ensin harrastinkin ompelua. Sitten löysin kauniit kuvioidut paperit ja se oli menoa korttiharrastukseen!

Niitä on paljon mutta ehkä voisin mainita Aijan upean väritystekniikan. Haluaisin saada palasen hänen taitoaan. *LOL*

Mitä et haluaisi nähdä kortissa?

En keksi mitään sellaista. Itseasiassa minusta on ihana nähdä uusia ideoita ja uusia materiaaleja. Materiaalien runsas kirjo on yksi niistä asioista joita rakastan korttiaskartelussa.

Kauanko sinulla menee yhden kortin tekemiseen?

Se vaihtelee kovasti. Kun minulla on hyvä idea yksinkertaiseen korttiin voi se valmistua jopa 15 minuutissa. Joskus siihen voi mennä tunti tai parikin. Yleensä menee 30-45 minuuttia jos minulla on leimakuva jo valmiiksi väritettynä.

Onko jokin tekniikka josta pidät eniten?

Olen rakastunut leimasimiin joten niiden kanssa työskentelyyn kulutan paljon aikaa. Juuri nyt on pinnalla versamark ja chalksit tekniikka. Siinä leimataan ensin läpikuultavalla musteella ja sitten tehdään kuviosta näkyvä chalkseilla. Olen kokeillut tätä tekniikkaa sekä ATC korteissa että tavallisissa korteissa ja se on mielestäni erittäin mielenkiintoista miten kuvio lopulta muodostuu.

Lemppari leimasin?

Pidän useista leimasimista mutta ehdottomia suosikkejani tällä hetkellä on Elisabeth Bellin suunnittelemat leimasimet Sugar Nellie ja Whiff of Joyn valikoimista.

Olisiko sinulla jokin mieluisa kortti jonka haluaisit näyttää meille?

Itseasiassa pidän kortista jonka tein StampARTicin ensimmäiseen luonnoshaasteeseen. Siihen meni paljon aikaa mutta olen todella tyytyväinen lopputulokseen.

Mikä tuottaa sinulle eniten iloa korttiaskartelussa?

Aina tulee jotain uutta ja tulen paremmaksi kortin tekijäksi. Ainoastaan taivas on rajana ja pidän siitä että saan haastetta jokaiseen päivään.

And the challenge is...Go green! Make a card using something green and something recycled (= not originally a craft item)

Haasteen aiheena on "vihreä"! Tee kortti jossa on jotain vihreää sekä jotain kierrätettyä mikä ei ole varsinaisesti askartelumateriaalia.

Onnea-text is wire originally made for wreath making, flowers and stems are punched from old book pages and colored with metallic mousse eyeshadow! *LOL* Green background is from Prima Leaves packaging material and colored with green toned inks. Blue rhinestones are from a broken children’s toy crown.

I`ve used rubber band across the card, and some florist wire for decoration under the small center flower.

I have used Tim Holtz ...meaning that background paper is from grunge board package and so are flowers made from that paper too. Middle of flowers are decoration sand, normally using decorating candles etc...Hearts are also from Tim Holtz fragments package, colored with alcohol inks. Something green...in the corners :)

Aija:Paper napkin under bakings. Ribbon from Christmas bouguet and decoration from label of Jeans.

Lene:

The brown/grey cardstock is actually from a toilettepaperroll.

Lillemor:

I have used green tissue paper on this card and green leaf from a candle decoration.


SasSa:
Pretty much everything is recycled... The paper in the background is from a package of clearstamps, the leaves are made of candy paper, the corrugated cardboard is from a package I got from a shop, and there are some waxed paper behind it. The green is represented in the button, the two small green strips of paper and some fabric- the bow, from a tablecloth. There are also two glowing stars that glows in green.
